When you're angry, that's okay It's your right to feel that way When you call out, I'll be there Even if it's nowhere If you're slinking, I know why It's because you're not that guy (trust me pal) Though the feeling goes both ways There's a time and there's a place

Alone at last, we all fear open doors The past has shown the feeling isn't yours (this copy is for Hype Williams) But you can't help this vicarious feeling In your heart of hearts That you should be afraid of anything with moving parts Somewhere off in the deep woods Way tucked out of the way Hoarded up, prisoner to no man But himself in the most bizarre way Pot is boiling over now Contemplating any last resort Real options, and he says to himself Will it fit around my neck Or did I waste the last bit of rope? When I said "This copy is for Hype Williams" that was a lie dude (You lied?) I don't even know Hype Williams (Fuck!) I just thought that shit sounded cool (It did though) But y'know in light of that, I'm gonna send this to Hype Williams (Send it to 'em) And then hopefully I can get his professional opinion (Do it) Prior to the release of this album (Woo) I really hope... I really hope nothing bad happens (Nothing bad is gonna happen it's fucking Hype Williams dude) I hope nothing goes wrong cuz I would be devastated if a copy of this album was leaked before the release date, that would suck (It would suck) Listen Hype, don't let me down (And he won't because he's fucking Hype Williams)

If all was dreamed Would life at large lose all its sheen? Due cause can seem A lot like rash behavior when you're mean At least you're never lossless Better to have lived and lost than died I guess it means you're stagnant And you can guess the meaning of real life It all can be An awful lot like MTV When cause collides With all those things you tried to hide
4.
Getting there is easier When you don't know where Before you leave Don't know what to wear How do you plan when you just don't care? How does it feel to receive those stares? If you're hungry, just take out a loan High or low (low) Only ever on the go (go) Tell me anything you know (know) Yell to me out in the snow (snow) Yet to see just where it goes (goes) If you're wondering, I'm not alone
5.
What I really wanna be (x2) I flipped the switch and lost myself All rigid thoughts began to melt Where we left off, I cannot tell Best not to bring that up right now You're in the throes of it (x3) Here in the belly of the beast Life without purpose Ultimately worthless (laughing)

Love me any way that you won't regret it I'm just way too slow Questions start to flood in When you're not there Whenever you don't show Sometimes we find stand-ins For practice Or to better off my soul And I need you anywhere that I go 'Cause the free wind is blowing through your hair And the days surround your daylight there (Shut the fuck up bitch) I can't trace the reason for the pain Why don't we both just start again? Love me any way that you won't regret it I'm just way too slow (too slow) I can't shake the meaning of this whole episode Do you want me in your life? I just wanna know Love me any way that you won't regret it I'm just way too slow (too slow) Damn, he did one of those classic tracks where he doesn't have any autotune so it sounds twice as embarrassing. I love those. I'm a Jugboy stan. I love Jugboy. Jugboy is awesome. I can't wait to hear what kinda weird-ass sci-fi bullshit he puts at the end of this track. Oh wow, look, it's happening. That's so cool.

In better days I gave away An "I love you" over passive waves But now I find With dwindling time To gift these words I'd pass away Before me stands A mountain tall As any eye Could ever tell And cross from that Stands a young man A row of phonelines Near a well The mountain crest all doused in snow Can't combat all these tumorous growths The row of phonelines near the well Do make-believe I'm on a hill The young man, he grows younger still

Even when I lose all amount of control I know it's all a soak in a wading pool Every time you try to pry away from the joy That's contained in a word-free life, that's a ploy With time like this There's hardly anything to worry about In times of doubt (In or out) [humming] Leave it to someone like you To undo all the good Of the nice hardworking cogs Whether or not it's such a hopeless place Don't resign to an unknown fate I've never known the sky to start falling Maybe you should practice stopping all of that negative bullshit Even when the ship goes down It's all out of our hands Have some faith in the world around you man Around you man, and sound again, and sound again Even when I lose all amount of control I know it's all a soak in a wading pool Every time you try to pry away from the joy That's contained in a word-free life, that's a ploy
11.
Sometimes I think all these flimsy instrumentals Take me out of running for the world's best musician Then I hear your shitty beats But it cannot compete (x2)
12.
Even as we're here Waiting for a song we long have feared Breathing on me That's what you meant to me Not what you meant to me
13.
Yesterday I saw a bald eagle eating garbage out of a knapsack Have those studies considered the climbing temperature? What am I gonna do for dinner? [Jumbled speaking] Ladies and gentlefish, boys and ghouls Get it? It's a pun There are few things in this world that can explained with absolute certainty And the brain is among the unaccountable Consider this: A train departs from a station at 3 o'clock. It's traveling 30MPH towards Dallas which is about 100 miles away. There's a man with a mustache and a monocle like the Monopoly guy, and he's clinging to a lockbox, which he's zip-tied to his wrist. "How did he get through security?" You wonder. "That's sus." Somewhere across the country, a comically tall man slips on some loose napkins someone haphazardly left on the floor of a Burger King to soak up grease. So basically, I guess the moral of the story is shut the fuck up. This is the first hour.
14.
You know what it is Yo go get it Yeah I told you nigga go get it Your pump fake You're Steph Curry, I'm all Leonard Niggas slip and fall Just tryna do it how I did it I stay on the ground Hustling everyday I'm committed Yo go get her Blowing them stacks, making it back Show them dollar bills Just to see shawty's gon make it clap If I'm on a track RIP the beat, yo it's a wrap Everytime I rap Getting that money, wallet look fat yo Bass hitting Putting that weight, cook in the kitchen yo Get your speakers knocking I'm showing you what you're missing yo Fresh pair of Jordans Fresh pair of Nike shoes Got my seat way back in the whip For when I cruise Yo I always do what I want, I do what I choose I'm heavy on that boss shit Always making those moves And every little thing I do is always making the news I gotta follow my own path I'm breaking the rules Let's go
15.
[Henry screaming incoherently]

As we get into the motion Don't deny it please Live a life of ease Spend your time out by the ocean The best things in life are never free Walk about like you are chosen It's all about me Strike a pose now for the camera It's a killing spree, don't you look at me
17.
Seize the court I'm hanging in the windmill And we're eating On a flight A bit of light I'm shown through The wind though Helps me though Everything's already ice Some of these Mace me, feel feist Bowling through The jail cells in my mind [If you're reading this, I'm just fucking with you, this is a cover of Summer Breeze, just look up the lyrics to that song] Old Mr. Grinch Now you're in a pinch And we're all ashamed Because that guy got filleted
18.
We were driving US Highway 41 You were young and I was young Yellow light cut through the night 80, humid, foggy, bright The moon was new, the streets were wet Up since twilight sun had set Black sky dwindling, dawn was yet to come So why go and write this down? Do you remember having time to spare? Is the future just as we had it become? Because it caught me unaware. So why go and write this down? Do you remember having time to breathe? Is the future just as we had it become? It's only just begun.

Something you discover pretty quickly in that state of mind is the human brain's obsession with causality. The eyes need to follow traces to find roots and stems. If you were looking at a tree, for example, you would look at the leaves and note that they are attached to the branches, which are attached to a wider segment, which sprouts from the trunk, which can be followed down to the roots of the tree and into the dirt, where it receives nutrients... and onward like that until you reach an impassable wall. Staring at a human (or animal for that matter) is stranger, and it instigates two revelations, the first of which is: humans are not attached to anything physically. They can be traced backwards in time by lineage and ancestry, then by evolution, then by a primordial ocean, then by cataclysmic cosmic events, then by mathematics, and then an impassable wall. You can recite all that in your head, but seeing is knowing, and presently, they are not rooted into soil like a plant. If anything, they are a fruit bore by a familial tree. That dumbfounds the mind. The second revelation might sound nearly identical to the first: you are completely isolated in your existence. You're wholly self-sufficient. Anything you've ever experienced was illusory--a trick by and for your eyes, basically a complex hallucination defined by your entirely unique outlook. Any thought that's ever blipped into your brain was totally your own. You are your thoughts. You aren't even here right now. You can't define "here." Everywhere you go is "here." You are a traveling set of coordinates. You're a frame in time. If thoughts like these bother you, it's for good reason. The infrastructure of modern society depends on and rewards you for ignoring these thoughts as well as similar ones. I wouldn't lie to you. It's not in my nature. A machine which relies on binary code is like our synapses which, at any given time, can either be firing or not. Binary. Ones and zeroes, black and white, on or off, yes or no, action or inaction, cessation or creation. Here's the part of the album where I just start describing funny images that should exist. - A horse with headphones on and it's listening to a book on tape. It's called horse book tape. - A house that's painted bright orange and has a stem and leaf coming out of the top so that it looks like an orange (the fruit). - A totally invisible truck with its high beams on and a guy standing in the middle of the road who has been scared so thoroughly that his hat has flown off his head and into the air. I think that would be funny. This is the intermission by the way. Uh, if for any reason you need to go do something (make a phone call, check your texts, get yourself a delicious beverage, or take a quick pee), now would be the prime opportunity to go ahead and do that.
